TwoCircles

The name bluermutt is synonymous with real-time sound collages and avant-pop remixes. He is an Italian residing in Barcelona and comprises half of the experimental electronic duo Mickey Eats Plastic. His compositions are whimsical journeys through post rock and electro pop.

Cullen Miller (1986-present) is an American composer, electronic musician and sound designer born in Detroit, Michigan. He is currently residing in San Francisco, California. His music is a laptop fused hybrid of aleatoric, electronica, dub, and jazz; incorporating original field recordings, programmed drums, fragmented vocals, synthesizers and traditional instrumentation. His compositional endeavors began by learning double bass and studying contemporary classical and modern jazz theory under the Netherlands based composer and bassist, Chad Langford. He utilizes and designs custom software applications that are configured in graphical environments, such as Native Instruments' Reaktor and Cycling '74's Max/MSP. He performs periodically under the moniker Grandfather Clock (algorithmic dub), with Kingsley Maddukka (kinky minimal techno), and Almondü (experimental jazz). He has released three EPs, all on the American (San Francisco) based label TwoCircles.

His live performance consists of live acoustic performance (cello, various drums and percussion, synthesizers, clarinet, dobro, electric and double bass, piano, violin, vocals, and saxophones) accompanied by prepared and stochastic electronics.

Hector begets a sensible form of minimal electronic music. His music is tinged with dubby Chilean flavors accompanied with jazzy counterparts. Mr. Pizarro comprises half of the techno group, Room 10 and has released on labels such as Produkt Schallplatten, Pinksilver, Metroline LTD, and Toppaz.

Esa Juhani Ruoho is a resident of Helsinski, Finland. He has been composing since the mid-1990s and is no stranger to the electronic music idiom. Since 2000, Ruoho has played numerous musical performances in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, England, Austria, Poland, Russia, Latvia and Estonia. He has done remixes for various artists including machinedrum, hecq, Proem, ilkae, and Kilowatts.

Mr. Riviere has been playing around Europe for more than 10 years. His passion for electronic music took him from southern France to London in 2000. There he began producing and experimenting with video and sounds. His love for minimalism comes through in his music. Self-Definition, his debut release on TwoCircles, has been played on multiple continents and we look forward to our future work with this talented artist.

Evaldas Azbukauskas is Giriu Dvasios/Soulsonic, a burgeoning musician and producer from Mazeikiai, Lithuania. TwoCircles presents his debut full length release, Trapped Behind Glass; an album laden with dark electronics and aphotic sound design that evokes imagery of nostalgic, metallic landscapes. His machinated style is embedded in the soul of TwoCircles' early development and will continue to evolve with us into the future.

Their peculiar forgery of sound is distinctly separate from the ongoing trend of minimal music. It is characterized by their inventive application of original field recordings, tasteful employment of their jazz sensibility, dense sound quality, and frequent prolation to keep dancefloors guessing. These international performers are best known for their live sets which span the uncharted abyss of avant funk, but are routinely applying bleeding-edge synthesis techniques in the studio.
