Dojo - Idlematch
Andrew Juarez, under his moniker Dojo, brings us his debut album Idle Match. A Los Angeles native, who now calls the mighty Pacific Northwest his home, combines his own brand of dub-inspired rhythms and lush ambient soundscapes. Dojo's Idle Match is a step into the mind of the artist himself. The release is highlighted by the floor ready "Extrapolated", and followed up by Dojo's foray into the more experimental side of himself, from which he relates his ability to capture a moment in sound with "Posit" and "Ultra Waltz". The release is rounded out by the soul-infused "Tall City", including a powerfully dark remix from Blipswitch artist Selande, as well as a tribal reinterpretation by simple. With art created specifically for the album by Daniel Lofredo, the release is as one from start to finish.
doubtingThomas - Objectif Lune
After a brief silence, TwoCircles returns with Objectif Lune: the creative summation of French producer doubtingThomas. His second release on TwoCircles, following the exploratory Self-Definition, yields a powerful representation of sonic growth. Coupled with original artwork by Tess Keller the release delivers what it promises, a provocative listen from beginning to end.

casual sex
Straying away from previous stylistic ventures, Casual Sex captures the sensual experimental side of minimal dub. Littered with found sound, smooth buttery stabs and deep siney bass the release pushes obscured rhythms which provide a conceptual sound scape for the listener to grab a hold of.

TwoCircles eighth release features an extremely diverse tracklisting. The dynamic of this release exemplifies the vast scope of music being released by this youthful, yet sophisticated label. Within the radius that encompasses TwoCircles avant-garde repertoire, a very distinct stylism is being refined.
2Circles008 features simple's somnolent brand of sparse, meticulous dub. Barcelona based artist, bluermutt, helps augment the release with 'Americans,' a tastefully processed Max/MSP remix of Italian experimental indie group, MiceCars. The seasoned IDM maestro, Proem, annexes 'Consortion Hammer,' another display of his freakish species of polymetric rhythms interwoven with shadowy tonality.
TwoCircles simultaneously lurks in the ambient realms with Lackluster's 'Reasonable Excuse', a chimeric tour through obscure rhythmic structures.
Cullen Miller adds some fuck-your-face, death metal infused grime to the catalogue with his 'I Eat Vegans'. Lithuanian producer, Soulsonic, contributes some classic nostalgic, feel-good beats that stray from his previous releases which dealt with more aphotic stylism. Kingsley Maddukka stones it's listeners with 'Mariana's Dub'; an obese rendition Detroit dub techno.

Stolen Nature
Stolen Nature adeptly bridges the synthetic/organic abyss with uniquely composed granular textures, aleatoric rhythmic patterns and modal jazz structures. The release's arcane theme is unfalteringly cohesive and conceptual from beginning to end. Miller's compositional sensibility on Stolen Nature has reconciled the poles of unadulterated, native sounds and processed, algorithmic music. These two adverse ideas are adroitly synthesized into a hybrid entity that lives and breathes on its own. The stochastic electronics laden deep in Stolen Nature's structure seem to have a sentient quality that hauntingly reflects recent developments in the field of artificial intelligence. The intricate machinations featured on Stolen Nature are inclined to deep personal sentiments and emotion. Cullen's application of traditional instruments takes the antiquated oral tradition and fuses it into a futuristic context.
